Regular School Year: Last Day of School : The regular school year concludes on May 23rd . Students, parents, and educators can look forward to a well-deserved break after a year of hard work and learning. Summer School: Dates : Summer School will be in session from May 28th to June 21st . Women’s 4x400 Relay Team: Set a school record of 4.12.56 and achieved a top 10 finish at the state track meet. Hello, Seneca R-7 School District families and staff! We hope you are staying warm and safe during this winter season. As you know, we had to cancel school on three days so far in January, due to inclement weather conditions. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we made these decisions to ensure the safety of our students and staff. However, we also value the quality of education and instruction that we provide to our students. That is why we have scheduled makeup dates for the missed school days, as required by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Here are the makeup dates for the snow days: Monday, February 5th for the snow day on Tuesday, January 9th Monday, February 19th for the snow day on Tuesday, January 16th Monday, April 8th for the snow day on Wednesday, January 17th Please mark these dates on your calendars and plan accordingly. These dates will apply to all schools in the district. We thank you for your support and flexibility as we adjust to the weather challenges. The Missouri Cheerleading Coaches Association (MCCA) State Championship took place over the weekend at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau. The Seneca Cheerleading Squad made Seneca History with a 4Peat as State Champions. This makes the 10th State Title for Cheerleading in Seneca History.
