    Regular School Year: Last Day of School : The regular school year concludes on May 23rd . Students, parents, and educators can look forward to a well-deserved break after a year of hard work and learning. Summer School: Dates : Summer School will be in session from May 28th to June 21st . TPC After School: Last Day of After School : The regular school year concludes on May 17th for the After School Programs at the Elementary and Intermediate. Please make alternate plans for your students for the week of May 21st to May 23rd.   • Kindergarten Screenings

    SENECA ELEMENTARY KINDERGARTEN SCREENINGS 2024-2025 MONDAY, MARCH 4TH 8AM - 7PM TUESDAY, MARCH 5TH 8AM - 4PM Children who will be 5 on or before July 31st, 2024 and plan to attend kindergarten in the fall will need to be screened and/or enrolled.   • Important Update: Snow Day Makeup Dates Announced

    Hello, Seneca R-7 School District families and staff! We hope you are staying warm and safe during this winter season. As you know, we had to cancel school on three days so far in January, due to inclement weather conditions. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we made these decisions to ensure the safety of our students and staff. However, we also value the quality of education and instruction that we provide to our students. That is why we have scheduled makeup dates for the missed school days, as required by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Here are the makeup dates for the snow days: Monday, February 5th for the snow day on Tuesday, January 9th Monday, February 19th for the snow day on Tuesday, January 16th Monday, April 8th for the snow day on Wednesday, January 17th Please mark these dates on your calendars and plan accordingly. These dates will apply to all schools in the district. We thank you for your support and flexibility as we adjust to the weather challenges. We look forward to seeing our students back in the classrooms and continuing their learning journey.   • Cheerleading Makes Seneca History: 4Peat State Champions

    The Missouri Cheerleading Coaches Association (MCCA) State Championship took place over the weekend at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau. The Seneca Cheerleading Squad made Seneca History with a 4Peat as State Champions. This makes the 10th State Title for Cheerleading in Seneca History.
