The Seneca Pride Band has once again made its mark on the state stage, earning an impressive 2nd Place finish in Class 3 at the 2026 Missouri State Marching Association (MSMA) State Championships!

Held on October 17 at Battle High School in Columbia, Missouri, the state competition brought together talented marching bands from across Missouri. The Pride Band's outstanding performance showcased the dedication, musicianship, and teamwork that have defined its 2026–2027 marching season.

This year's show, "Sparkle," brought the band's musical talent and creativity to the field. Under the leadership of Head Band Director Tyler Jones, students worked throughout the season to refine their performance and prepare for the state stage. Their efforts resulted in not only a second-place finish but also special recognition for their musical excellence.

Providing leadership on the field were Drum Majors Marley Myers, Luke Patterson, and Joshua Roller, whose dedication helped guide the band throughout the season. The performance also featured talented soloists Duncan Beville, Jordyn Sanford, and Christopher Steadman, each contributing to the musical impact of "Sparkle."

These accomplishments represent countless hours of rehearsals, preparation, and commitment from every member of the Pride Band. From the students performing on the field to the directors and supporters working behind the scenes, this success reflects a tremendous team effort.

The Seneca R-7 School District extends its congratulations to the entire Pride Band, Director Tyler Jones, and everyone who contributed to this remarkable achievement. Your hard work, determination, and passion for music continue to make our schools and community proud.

Congratulations, Seneca Pride Band! Thank you for representing Seneca with excellence and showing the state what Seneca Pride is all about!
