Online Learning (MOCAP)

Missouri Course Access Program (MOCAP)

The Seneca R-7 School District strives to provide students with access to a wide array of learning opportunities in order to help them succeed in life after graduation. The District realizes children have unique learning styles, and we are here to adapt to your child’s needs.

That’s why the Seneca R-7 School District embraces online learning opportunities such as the Missouri Course Access and Virtual School Program. Known as MOCAP, the online program for grades K-12 is overseen by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the State Board of Education.

MOCAP enhances current opportunities, giving students one more avenue to learn and find success. Online/virtual courses are available through a number of vendors, which can be found on the MOCAP website

In accordance with 161.670 RSMo and School Board policy - IGCD, registration and payment for MOCAP online courses will be completed by the Seneca R-7 School District for those students who qualify.

Parents or students interested in online courses should work with the school counselor to create the best plan of action for the individual student.
